What happens next?2. Kick-off MeetingThe kick-off meeting is where the website design process begins. We will discuss with you the different elements of the design process and work on completing a Website Development Brief that will provide a profile for your company and begin to define the style and outline of your website. The website development brief covers the following:
Kick-off meetings are usually held over the phone within a week of the contract being signed. We encourage that a company chooses an individual (preferably no more than three) that will be directly involved in all meetings and will act as the principal decision maker(s). Like the old adage, too many cooks in the kitchen will ruin the broth. 3. Content CreationCreating content can be the most difficult aspect of the website creation process. To overcome this obstacle AltaStreet offers a default set of content pages for the financial industry. Of course, we're not requiring that you use the default content. This is your website, after all. The content can be used as-is, changed to better fit your company, or not used at all. The AltaStreet content creation process is as follows:
4. Design ProcessThe design process begins once the content site map has been created. Designs are created based on client feedback given at the kick-off meeting. These steps define the process:
5. Website DevelopmentOnce the content creation process and design process are complete, AltaStreet will create the website using the AltaStreet Website Management System. Our developers follow the latest web standards to ensure your website will be ranked well by search engines, as well as making it easy to update in the future. 6. Final ReviewOnce the website development is complete, the site will be carefully reviewed by the AltaStreet staff and the client. The approved website will then be reviewed for compliance approval, if required by the broker/dealer. Upon approval the website will be moved from the development environment to the domain chosen by the client. |
